Why is new braunfels the unicorns?

Nothing, and I say NOTHING, competes with the moral dilemma that arises from this nickname. On the one hand, it's perhaps one of the craziest pet names ever invented for a school. On the other hand, it's more than brilliant. What can you say to a school that purposely calls itself Unicorns? Not a damn thing.

All you can do is shake hands and hope that one day you too can be that amazing. Slow clap, unicorns from New Brunfels, clap slowly. This blue unicorn in a golden field, originally taken from the coat of arms of Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels, was a nod to the city's German roots.

New Braunfels has consistently trained

graduates who have been named as fellows, finalists, semifinalists and praised by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Of the students who attend college after graduating from the New Braunfels Independent School District, the most popular schools are Texas State University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas A&M University. In addition to provoking laughter and Instagram among visitors and road travelers, this former unicorn mascot from New Braunfels has inspired a culture of school spirit that is unlike any other. Although New Braunfels dominated the rivalry for much of its existence, the game is sure to get everyone's blood pumping. The New Braunfels Independent School District said on Facebook that it has started sending students to Unicorn Stadium while the building is being cleaned.
